A real romantic feel throughout the guilded halls of Yales gothic revival campus. The stained glass etched in the 8 ft windows. Steady sounds of papers rustling and foot steps echoing out into the courtyard. The smell of old books and coffee warms me. It’s easy to write here where material flows most naturally.
It’s easy to spend a beautiful Sunday in Connecticut. Last day of the week and always a day promised to myself. The countryside seems to do something for everyone. A visit to one of my favorite libraries, the enchanting ‘Sterling Memorial Library’, designed by highly respected architect of his time, James Gamble Rogers. James style was so elegant he designed the library as a cathedral and one can find scripts of 8 different laungages across the arched stone entrance, poised in its beautiful masonry.
